You're correct that the dalmation and gold are females - it looks as though the black may be as well. The way to tell the gender with mollies (or any livebearer) is to look at the anal fin - the bottom one near the tail. In males, this will be modified to come to a long, thin point (see photo of this on a platy: http://fish.orbust.net/images/male2.jpg ), but on a female, the fin is triangular: http://fish.orbust.net/images/female.jpg
The dalamation and gold could very well be pregnant, since their abdomens seem to be a little swollen. The silver appears to be a male, so depending on how long you've had them, that might be the father. It also looks like your platy is a male.

Well its kind of hard to tell from the pics bc if at a certain angle one that is female could look like a male and vice versa... the silver however is definitely a male, the black looks like a female from the pic anyways, the dalmation is without a doubt a female, the the gold one looks like a male from the pic and orange with black is a platys fish and it looks like a male (hard to tell bc of the pic quality though so not too sure)... Usually you can look at the Mollies and see that the females are much plumper, while the males are slimmer. But this will not always help you distinguish between the males and the females. Male Mollies have a modified fin called a gonopodium, the females have a normal unmodified fin. This fin is found under their bellies... so this is how you can tell.. simply look at their anal fins.. the one under their bellies... the males (gonopodium) is thin and pointed and looks like a sword.. the females will be shaped much like a fan... and the way you can tell if a female is pregnant is that you will see her belly thicken and as the pregnancy progresses you will see a darkening of part of her belly near her anal fin.. almost look like lil black spots (these are the babies eyes) ...as the darkening increases to an intense black you will know that she is close to having them... did you just get these fish... if you did then congrats... the reason i asked was bc your black one didnt look too good from the pic.. the top fin should always be up in healthy fish.. when it is clamped down tightly towards the body like yours was in the pic it means that the fish is either sick or stressed... if you just got them this might be why.. keep a close eye on the fish and if you are concerned talk with someone at the store where you purchased them... lots of luck and enjoy your fish =o)

silver - male
black - female
dalmatian - definitely female
gold - female
orange/black - male
you can tell by a fin on their belly, the males are kind of thin and just straight and the females are more like a normal fin that can spread out, for example look at the silver one.. that thin fin along it's belly means its a boy, then look at the dalmatian.. see how the fin on her belly is more of a triangular shape?
i hope that helps!

uh no boys are not usually the most colorful when it comes to mollies...
silver is a male, black is female, dalmation is female, gold is female, and your platy i think might be a male cant tell to well.
and when everyone is talking about color that only applies to guppies (livebearers that is)

Look at their talks and their color. The colorful ones are male. The ones with the simple tails and dull colors are females. If they have longish swishy tails then theyre guys.
