AAAH... why do people answer questions when they don't know what they are talking about, or merely to be a smart ***.
Cleveland is where D.J. Alan Freed first used the term Rock & Roll to describe a style of music (previously it was a euphemism for sex in various styles of black music)

Alan Freed was a radio DJ from Cleveland who coined the term Rock & Roll. However, there was a ton of controversy over where to build the HOF. Most people wanted it in NYC. However, Cleveland ended up with it due to a better cash offer. Still, whenever there are induction ceremonies, NYC gets the nod. Why? Because pampered celebrities cannot be troubled slumming it in fly-over territory.

It was a D.J. in Cleveland that originally applied that term to a recording he played of Elvis Presley. The term was urban slang for sex.
