I like the Raiders because as a Defense Coach -
my choice of color is BLACK.
Black is BAD and EVIL...like Defense.
And NOTHING is more fun than an exhibition game between the raiders AND the NINERS.
I'm a die-hard 49er fan and I love watching them whoop up on the Raiders.
I hope Patrick Willis is all he's cracked up to be.
I'll be watching him play some Defense.

The Raiders have a "bad boy" image that fellow "bad boys" relate to. They're not the only ones. The people with the "good guy" attitude cheer for the Cowboys.
A lot of these fans started out not knowing anything about the game, and picked their favorite team cause of the team's personality and/or success.

I live in the bay area. But not in Oakland. In San Francisco. We hate the Raiders! LOL I think people like the raiders cause of their logo and colors. When I drive to Oakland to watch the A's play I see a couple of raiderette fans lol They can't even name their wide out. How pathetic. Go NINERS!

people think theyll be tougher if they rep the raiders because the raiders USED to have a rep for being badasses

I don't know...CA actually has 3 teams and I would prefer any over them...many "fans" of Raiders couldn't give one stat...they just like the gear, so it sells...I live in CA...I am a Raider Hater...Go Steelers!

They've been crappy for years!! Whenever I visit the Raider image store I wear my Antonio Gates jersey, and ask the employees what their record will be this season :)
