be patient, when you first start menstruating they can be sporatic. Keep some pads handy. Typically women get their period every 28 days +/-
when you first start the first year tends to be a little off until you regulate.

It could happen tomorrow, it could happen in a year. Really, it takes time for your body to get used to the idea of having cycles.
I have a thirteen year old who had her first one last fall and is still waiting for the second one. I brought her concerns to her doctor who assured me that there can be long spaces in between the first several periods.
Have patience, dear. In time, they will be happening more than you want.

If your a teenager your periods may be all over the charts. You wont have a"normal" cycle for a few years. Sorry but it's just the way life is. Keep your head up...

Yes, unless you are pregnant, then it will be about 9 months. Otherwise it will be here but not exactly 28 days. After a while you will have a regular schedule with only slight fluctuations. Don't worry for now.

The whole first year that you have your period, the cycle will be very irregular. It's totally normal and happens to almost everyone.

My 2nd period came months after my first one. Everyone's different, and most girls periods are irregular in the beginning.
