YES. Every day. I live in a small town surrounded by corn and everyone marries their "High School Sweetheart" when they're 20 and have kids when they're 22 I'm almost 23 and want out!

Everyone should get away from home once awhile, get out of the country...see the world. It does sounds great to just pack up and leave...but you will miss your family & friends. But If you can endures the loneliness for awhile...just do it...you only have one life to live...so what would it be? Just wish you could have done it... or just do it so you know how it would feel...Good luck.

I can't believe you asked that question...I have that thought at least once a day, sometimes more if the stress level around here is high...I love my family, but the kids are living their own lives now...It's either daydream about running somewhere and starting over or... suicide...

Sometimes, but then I remember what I'd be throwing away, and I think, "What if my new life sucks, but I stick it out and it doesn't get better, and then 10-15 years down the road I run into someone (or several) who I left behind in my 'old life'?

: )

I love your question and yes I have thought about it. I have often times wanted to pack my stuff and get out of dodge as the older generation would say.

I did that. I left Sweden and moved to America. I do keep in touch with my old life. I send money back home every month. But I don't think i am going to go back.
