I think I know what you mean. When there is a revolution the new president inevitably imposes a new constitution ie I am president for life sort of thing. Promises free elections at some future date and if it goes against him arrests the victor and accuses him of treason. This is the value of UK having no written constitution and why it should not have one because we have all got a pretty good idea of what it and what is not constitutional even if we can ot define it in a legal sense
