I just need to know if the classes I took all my 2 years (and now my curent 3rd year) are pretty good...

Freshman year: I took Journalism 1-2, Honors English, Geometry, P.E., Biology, and Geography honors-first term= 3.50...next semester 4.0

Sophomore year became block schedule (4 classes per semester): Journalism, drivers ed/health/comp.ed, English honors, Chemistry...first term: 4.29, next term: 4.25

Sophomore year spring semester: Journalism, Algebra honors, world history honors, psychology...first term: 3.75, next term: 3.75

I did tennis, I was editor in chief of the paper for two years.

Junior year first term I'm currently taking Spanish, US History honors, physics, and I'm a teacher's aide...and I'm also in academic decathalon.

For senior year I'm taking AP Art History, English, Calculus, Spanish, Sociology...

Would this work out fine? I would like to major in sociology/journalism/history.

If I'm a teacher aide won't that count as some sort of service though? I got out of journalism due to the teacher's lack of good teaching skills and students that never do their work.

Would making more classes up senior year work even better as well?

to be honest.. the classes you take dont really matter as far as your major goes... generally people wont major in math if they sucked at it.. so it kinda just naturally sets into place

colleges are too busy with other stuff than to try to match up your classes and see if your on the right track

they look more at you GPA (+ how many advanced courses youve taken) and extracurricular activities... they like to see a PASSION for w/e and its definetely evident that you like the whole journalism thing if you were so involved with your school paper.... just stick to the activities your doing and youll be good to go.. although i would suggest a community service thing if you arent already (colleges love that stuff)

you are more than well on your way to a good college if you keep your grades up and what not.. although i suggest you take AP English, it really helped me improve my writing and if thats the direction you want to go in then it can only help you (a lot!) .. to be writing closer to a college level by the end of high school will give you a huge advantage

Your GPA is good and you are taking a rigorous schedule. You look to be doing very well in setting yourself up for a good college or university. Keep up the good work and good luck. :-)

Yes You Will, I guarantee it. This is University material. You could probably get into just about any school that you'd like. Senior year is easy, but don't slack.
