They have a very good shot to do it.

It's always been a possibility, even when the yanks were down 14 1/2 games... their the yankees, so it's not over till its over. however, the redsox really should be six games up still, theyre playing well but gagne blew 2 games. as long as the red sox keep winning, they will be able to keep the lead i think. if they start playing poorly again, then there is a chance the yankees might catch up unless there hot streak ends. I hope the red sox keep playing well, because in the big picture the red sox have dominated the league this year and the deserve to be first in the al east :)

I think it will be close, but the Red Sox have a deeper bullpen than the yankees. I think It will be difficult for the yankees to make the playoffs if they have to battle the mariners for wildcard position, but I would not be suprised if the Mariners take the west and the yankees pass the angels for wild card position.

I hope not, but its looking more and more possible with each Yankee win. I think a healthy Schilling will help the Sox hold them off, but there's no guarantee he's come back and be a big contributor down the stretch.

With 6 games to play between each other, I like the Yankees chances. If we get by a tough August, September looks a little easier. I like our chances a lot.

being a red sox fan i would say no, but knowing history and the way the yanks have played lately it is possible for the simple fact that they have been on a streak. but they were playing losing teams. they now have to face winning teams which will be difficult for them to play. if they stay healthy then possibly. like i said though i hope not.

I hope so but who knows? The good thing is that we have some very meaningful games with them soon. Whoever wins those games will have a psychological advantage and that may just be enough. I like our chances!

i've got faith that the yankees will capture boston. they have been taking part in nicely. and the entire ordinary time table concern the final time pink sox performed devil rays the pink sox lost the sequence.

Maybe they will, maybe they wont. Personally I give them a 40% chance of doing it.

BUT, it doesnt matter really because they are going to win the wild card with ease.
