If you had a certain back surgery a few years ago, and the Dr. who did the surgery asked you if you would be interested in being in a study he's conducting about the procedure, you would get no compensation at all, would you do it?

depends on weather or not i was having problems.....
if everything was fine with my back, why should i go back and let him mess around in there?

but if i had a pain here and there.....yeah i think i would want him to check'

best wishes and ask a bunch of questions before undergoing any unnecessary procedures!!!

but if it was just some type of questionnaire then i say yeah, go for it!

It would depend on what it entailed. I would not take compensation into consideration though because if I thought someone may benefit from it some day that would be compensation enough for me. If however it meant harm to myself then no.
