I found a gold, double rope bracelet on a dance floor over 20 years ago. I told the bartender that I found it and left my phone number but no one ever claimed it. It's worth around $500.00 now.

Money. I found a $100 bill on the street once, a $20 bill in a bathroom recently, and a $5 bill in the deep end of a public pool. Unexpected money is always a good find!

one time when i was on the beach i found this really cool snorkelling gear. I had great fun using it. but I also lost it on the same day after I quit swimming. so probably the finder would find his way to this site and write that the best thing he ever found is a snorkeling gear at the beach. at least I proved my point. wait, am I making sense?

Once I was in a thrift shop, looking at clothes, and there was this linen top, with a pocket in the middle of the front. I found that there was a ten dollar bill in the pocket, so I bought the shirt! *sm*

A moonrise sea shell on a Kauai beach. There are people who have lived there their whole life and never found this rare shell. It was appraised at $80.

I've found money several times. Jewelry sometimes. A fist full of diamond rings once. A lady I knew had just taken them off to use the public restroom. I knew she had just come out so I asked if she lost something. She said "Ohhh my rings!" So I gave them to her. But I mention everytime I see her...just in case she got one over on me! I always say, "Remember me, the girl who found your rings?" She remembers me!

found a cash check for $10,000 outside a gas station near the womens toilet...went to the nearest police station and reported it...the woman who lost it ,gave me gift vouchers worth $5,000 as a token of her appreciation...
she later told me that inside the left pocket of the check book is another check that has more zero's to it...
i dare not ask her the amount...$10,000 is way too much to handle...
