Casualties, Sick of it All, the Locust, the Blood Brothers (older stuff), xbxrx, Death by Stereo, From Autumn to Ashes, Suicidal Tendencies, the Bled, Municipal Waste, A Global Threat, Tiger Army, the Toasters... *shrug*
For the record, Linkin Park isn't hardcore.

I don't know of any new ones, but if you wish to listen to some pure punk, listen to the very beginning of U2 and the Police. Their like the Founding Fathers of punk.

well I have to say being a gigantic punk fan, it has to be the Ramones, Sex Pistols, the Clash, New York Dolls, The stooges, Misfits, Green Day of recent stuff, Arvil Lavigne(Eventhough many think she isn't punk), Good Charlotte, Ashley Nicole, and thats all I can think of.
