ive heard that she is one of the rich givers in the world and i wanna know if what if u were her...maybe u have great ideas waiting to be discovered.....

I think Oprah does a terrific job. I don't think I could top her. And she DOES help the Katrina victims. She was one of the first ones.

Okay, this is what I would do if I was Oprah.
Since I know I am one of the richest woman in the world, and since I went to Africa and went to a poor area and made a school over there for girls, I would actually take a map of Africa and try to call the U.N. to see which is the poorest region of each country in Africa. Because, each country in Africa has a region soo poor that it is hopelessly sad and down right awful, I would get sponsors like Loew's or The Home Depot and some of my Hollywood (or political) friends to donate something as well ($1,000 is not a lot at all) and get things started. I would be, let us say Uganda for example, and see which region (or state) is the poorest there. Then, I would see how many teachers that are in that state (or country) who would like to teach. With help from the government, the teachers are set in place. Then I would have them make a school that has three sections. Not too big, but sizable enough to have a section for a K-5 program, a 6-8 program and a high school program. All in one building. I would either make the building to have three floors or, make three smaller building, each accomadating each scholastic teachings. Build a huge gate around the building(s) so that it can be private and so the kids can have a play area or something and that would be it. I would make sure that there would be some type of stage, auditorium or something so that the children can act or something. A library with books donated from all other....things like that.
I would do this for each country in their poorest region. And if the government from each country helped out, then they would get help from the UN and not be considered bastards from the rest of the world. Then, because I am Oprah, MORE people would respect me even more!
And, because what I would be doing would be considered charity, I would get that back after I file my taxes! So, it would work out for me.

I would buy New Orleans and rebuild. Feed the hungry, clothed the needy and create some jobs. I couldnt be comfortable with so much and others have so little. Especially a child. I would rather go without than a child to starve. I would be hands on.. charities have to go through so many channels....!

If I was Oprah I would help all the people in the U.S.A., the homeless, the abused, the children etc.
I feel that the United States needs help first!

yeah right Oprah really helps people... like the episode where she gave the lawyer and the engineer a home makeover. Why didnt she give some Katrina victims a home makeover?

I would start at home....
Help the poeple in my community, City, State.
I would also Help pay for college for people, not just one race or one gender. Anyone who would like 2 attend and put forth effort......

i would run for president and give teachers, police, firefighters, emts and people like that raises and veto every bill that passed my desk trying to give the politicians raises.
