G'day,

Another spot on answer from Tentofield. If I may add:
If you are an international student, as part of your visa requirement, you MUST pay for Overseas Student Health Cover, which usually required to be paid by the institution that give you the offer.

This will cover hospital and emergency (including Ambulance calls) care except dental. You may need to pay with cash upfront when visiting the doctors or for any treatments (like eye or blood tests) and will be reimbursed by going to the insurance office to make the claims.

Hope this helps. Good luck :)

Medical treatment in Australia is free of charge in public hospitals and from doctors and medical practices that bulk bill. Otherwise you have to pay. Free treatment is, however, limited to permanent residents and citizens. Visitors do not receive it unless their own National health scheme has reciprocal arrangements with Australia.

NO, treatment for brainless condition asking a question that does not make sense is VERY expensive ine Australia.

IF you rephrase the question so we know what treatment you are asking for, we might consider reducing the price of the treament.
