No, that's still unsafe. There are driver's booster seats available, hang on, I'll try to find you a link...

Here you are. If you find that uncomfortable, you can probably also take your car into the dealership and ask them to raise the seat up for you. Good luck!

I apologize. You were not clear in your original answer. I stand corrected.
If a booster seat is needed, try to think of the safety of the person using it first. It may not be illegal, but is it the safest and best way?
I hope you find and choose the safest way to travel. Good luck and be safe.

Sure- my mom did it all the time.

Additionally, many people have pillows to correct
for poor seat back alignment...so some pillows
[ probably called supports] are medically prescribed.
