I definately agree with you. Conan has the funniest personality and he is more interesting to watch when he is interacting with his guests. However, Jay Leno has the best skits and also has better guests.

I don't watch Kimmel and I don't think Letterman is funny.. except that skit he has when he shows famous quotes from respected presidents followed by one of the stupid quotes from George Bush.

I like Leno better vs Letterman. But they're on fairly early so they have to be kind of conservative.

I love love love Conan and Jimmy but I tend to watch Kimmel more b/c they let him get away with more. I think you're right about Conan's writers, some of his stuff is really funny, but some of it is really random. Kimmel thinks off the top of his head and I LOVE the security guards, Guillermo the most.

Leno without a doubt! I love how Conan is so real lol. Like the other late night hosts try to act like there show is live and really being taped at night when we all know its not. Conan is always saying stuff about it not being live. I think that is so funny!

I desire Conan over Leno and Letterman. i think of Conan is swifter on his ft with humorous and witty feedback and has extra of a real comedian's techniques. I additionally love his Walker Texas Ranger lever, Frankenstein Wastes a Minute of it sluggish, and different so-stupid-it is-humorous innovations. between Leno and Letterman, i think of they're the two good. I in many situations like Leno's standup extra effective, yet i like Letterman's interviewing skills extra effective and, of direction, the precise 10 checklist. For me, Leno v. Letterman is a toss-up.

Those you list, in order:
Ferguson - a tad quirky, a tad risque, much improved over his first few months.
Conan - polished and hilarious and often delivers the best jokes
Letterman - I still enjoy Letterman, but some of the bits are so tired (i.e.; great moments in presidential speeches)
Leno - used to be funny, now more often than not just crude
Kimmel - far more misses than hits in the humor department

I like Conan, I think his writing is good, and they're original sketches. He also ad lib's a lot and has a lot of energy.
I think Leno"s okay but most of his sketches have little writing in them, and he's not that good with the top notch guest's he gets.

Jimmy Kimmel died in my comedy book at the roast of Flavor Flav the other night, his jokes went from bad to worse and they were beyond distasteful. My favs are Lisa Lamponelli and Carlos Mencina!
