I'm glad you posted this in philosphy, as I stay out of R&S. I think the answer is really simple. It's ONLY blasphemy when when the criticism is against THEIR God. Religions have their own special God, who allegedly doesn't recognize anyone who doesn't believe in him. Why do you think there has been so much bloodshed throughout history? Simply stated, "If your God isn't my God, you have no God at all, & we will (in the love of God) kill you." Sad to say. I don't mean to paint with a broad brush, as some people of some religions are NOT like this.

The problem is that every religion with only One God believes it has the one true one by the toe. So they cover their tracks by claiming that the God of others is their God, really, after all. Curious, really. For instance if you read the Old Testament borrowed and translated from Judaism by the Christians, you'll find that the God there goes through a series of personality changes - and changes again in the New Testament. What astonishes me is that the people who believe in a God also seem to believe they know most of whatever is important to know about him/her/it. That smacks of hubris, to me - even by their own standards. It's mere folly by mine..

Looks like spider-muslim only says what he wants without regard to the question.
Blasphemy is only blasphemy to those who are offended in their religious zeal and imperfection.
The ONE is all powerful and all our notions of it are just mere echos of the Truth. It is:
N-F-I-Bull.
True love of god even forgives the blasphemy.
My god is one of love and doesn't care how I spell his name, or even if I cuss him out. He understands me even as he understands such hatemongers and haters such as spider-muslim and will hear their cries from hell where they consign themselves and will release them when they realize their folly.
Great admixture of all intelligence, even the evil, will then be realized, and there will no longer be any distinction when all the hell-bound are released. Hell is not eternal, but does exist for those who think they themselves need it.
Chew on that.

ignorance to the highest level! I never seen so many people so spred out like grass on a field all different colours and yet they all have the same purpose and don't even care!
I never seen so many ignorant people in all my life that means the schools are failing, the homes and failing and the parents are failing terribly no guidcance and no care but their own pockets and their desires.. that is christianity at its best, lustful hateful religion that says love, but turn their back and stab you everytime!
I never seen so much hate in all my life and hate makes hate and I am good man but you all don't deserve anything from Allah nothing so take your blasted cross and shove it!

Nope. there are 6 billion people on this planet and that means there is 6 billion different ways to conceive of god. god is an idea, like love and everyone conceives of love differently.

Without faith in Christ's ransom there is no salvation. So, you may be any religion or philosophy you choose. But if you want to live or have eternal life, you need to be Christian.

Don't tell the Jews they have the same ultra-deity as you. They don't even spell your deity's name fully, let alone theirs. The Muslim deity seems very different and extremely intolerant. The Catholics deity has inspired them to mass murder many times in history. The Protestant deity seems to regard Catholics as demons from hell.
Which one God are you talking about?
