I would go back in time and tell myself not to do all the stupid things I did that hurt anyone.

If I hurt any of you, I am sorry.

Well first, I think I'd like to go back to 1865, the day of Lincolns assination, as that was a very tragic day as he was such a great man. Then to 1912, when the Titanic sank, I absolutely love learning about the Titanic and would have loved to have been on it. Also, 1968 (I think) when Kennedy was assasinated since there is so much controversity surrounding it, and I think I'd love to know who done it for sure.

As for the future:
I'd like to go to the year 2028, as I would be 40 then, and I'd love to see where I ended up.

Then to some far off distant year like 3000, just to see how everything has changed.

Our Earth is hurtling around the sun at a blistering 67,000MPH. If you were to send something back in time just 1 minute, it would materialize 1,117 miles away from where it started.

Moreover, our sun is moving about the galaxy at just a smidge under ten times the speed of the planet. Basically, sending objects back or forward in time just a few seconds is a one-way ticket into outer space (or the middle of the planet if you don't jump far enough). For terrestrials, it is an entirely useless means of manipulating your time line, but NASA may do well to look into this as a very reliable way of getting objects into space with minimal fuss.

I'd go back in time to about a year ago, and play the winning Mega Millions lottery ticket, then live it out and up with my family and friends!

I'd go back in time, and show the people like in the 60's an amazing device that hasn't been invented yet, show them how it works and sell it to them, and then come back with the huge profits.
