a seven yr old kid and below understands older ones,easily pick up manners,attitude,etiquette so with your language..but dont easily differentiate whats right from wrong,all things they heard,seen from adults are ok to follow..so if you dont watch what you say,what you do in front of them,they think its the right one..would you want to hear them saying bad words before you?then watch your language dear,

Yeah, I try to - or I use language that they won't understand so that I can get away with it. Not curse words, but real words they wouldn't know.

Yes. I don't want to teach them bad habits. I also watch it around my mom out of respect.
