My fish layed eggs on 08/10/07 i have recently removed them and put them in there own tank so the other fish dont eat them and ive noticed over the last few days they have gotten this white puffy looking stuff around them! I have no clue what it is or why its there this is the first time ive dealt with fish eggs!

These eggs are funguses and you need to remove them immediately

They're fungused(not even sure if that's a word...), either they were unfertilized, or they just didn't take for what ever reason. Depending on what type of fish, you may need to leave them in the original tank with the parents for awhile, to make sure the dad had a chance to fertilize them. Can be hard though with other fish trying to eat them. Or, if you notice the two starting to mate, move them to a separate tank temporarily.

What kind of fish were they? most fish like angelfish's eggs are very sensitive and what some people do is put anti fungus while they are in the egg stage because fungus somehow always grows on there eggs. If the eggs where old like more than 4 days then it was because they were unfertile and they just died.

They have fungus. They will not hatch and could cause fungus to spread to your other eggs. usually the male, I believe, is responsible for eating unfertilized eggs. It either means not a very good father, I THINK. The parents, if there, should take care of it. Now, if all the eggs turn white, its possible that two females mated and layed eggs.... =/

Those eggs are either not fertilized or dead/injured and fungus is growing on them. Pick out the fuzzy eggs and throw them away.
