I am one who actually feels sorry for Bush. You realize (1) he 'inherited' the war from Clinton, who did not do as he ought to have done when he was in office, leading to the present mess, and (2) the far left, liberal and powerful press is out to get Bush, no holds barred, lying and twisting and attacking in their devious ways, and (3) many Americans do not respect the office of the Presidency, and do nothing but moan and cry when they OUGHT to be on their knees praying for this man.

If you look at the people who have benefited the most from this war, it's not the people who GWB said would benefit from it.
And I would have had more faith in this administration, if I never heard the phrase "no bid contract". Many companies, and friends of the Vice Pres. have made fortunes from this war, without any competition allowed. The actions of this billion dollar corporation control of the war has put the security of the forces in danger.
And Trillions of dollars have gone missing during this administration and are unaccounted for.
Literally anyone who has paid taxes, your pockets have been picked and there are no fingers being pointed at who did it.
That is the least of the horrible outcome of this war, thousands of lives have been lost in the name of democracy, and the people that were supposed to be removed from power in Iraq have regained power in the name of this new Democracy.
Why I don't like him? He chose to be the face and the source of all blame regarding these big and life or death choices. He laid the blame upon his own shoulders and has yet to come forward to acknowledge that he may have made some mistakes.
There is absolutely NO solid plan in Iraq, there are only "benchmarks" they are setting for what they will call a "victory" some day. It's easy to start a war and not fully declare who the enemy is, that way you can choose when the war ends, based on your own agenda.
I've heard this called "A war on Terror" and how can you fully declare war on a state of mind, or on an act that causes a state of being.
This is a war against ideals that can only be fought with other ideals. It's another civil war the US has gotten invested in and will not leave under anyones terms but it's own. With all the lives spent and time and money used up, people are impatient for results and an end to this war.
My question is why stand behind someone who has continuously mislead the people he's meant to serve and protect. And during this time use up that nations resources for an un clarified purpose.

Because most people that live between the Appalacians and the Sierra Nevada Mountains DON'T hate George Bush. If you look at an electoral map for the 2004 election, you'll see that primarily it is both coasts that supported Kerry, while the REST OF THE COUNTRY supported Bush.
The Republicans used the winning equation in 2000 and 2004:
Corporate America + Christian Conservatives + the South = enough votes to win a general election.
(Conversely, the Democrats strategy:
New England + California + Women + Minorities = NOT ENOUGH VOTES)
It is the media who projects that everyone hates Bush (even though they should), because they conduct their polls in Boston, NY, DC, LA, and other big metro areas that are very liberal by comparison.
The media sells the idea that everyone hates Bush to further their own liberal agenda. Obviously, the last 2 general elections paint a different picture.
Also, the fact that the Dems nominated 2 patsies in Gore and Kerry helped Bush immensely. That and the fact we were in a war which was fabricated by the Republicans in order to politically exploit the Democratic foreign policy weakness.

I agree that not everyone hates George Bush, there are many who do. The ones who hate him in many cases do it out of party loyalty, others have come to hate him, but the majority would be in that first group. Those who love him, most do it out of party loyalty, but some have come to love him because he stands by what he believes no matter how many people think it may be wrong. He is not the worst president, but he won't make any body's top 5 either. All this to say, if you hate him, hate him and if you love him, love him, but can we not start to see that hating him or loving him will not change anything, it just divides us, and the 9/11 crowd wins because, "A house divided cannot stand." Hate him or love him, remember we are Americans.

i do no longer hate Bush! He has been between the excellent presidents this united states of america has ever had. He went into Iraq with the approval of the liberals who all agreed with him. He took out a terrible chief. He made a metamorphosis in generals in Iraq to strengthen the nicely-known of existence there. He did call for regulation on Mortgages some years in the past. We did have the backside unemployment value ever till all this mess that the liberals orcestated. Bush will flow down in histroy as certainly one of our superb presidents only as Truman did. do no longer overlook, Truman left place of work with an exceedingly low approval score, 18% i think of it became. He became additionally noted as an fool by way of only approximately everybody. while he have been given off the airplane in his residing house city, there became no person there to fulfill him. i understand that he could have authorized of each and every thing that Bush has completed and tried to do and so could John F. Kennedy. The liberals could kick Kennedy out in the present day only as they did with Joe Lieberman. John Kennedy noted as for lowering taxes too. Obama would be a pollwatcher. lots of the those that get on the polls are liberals besides.

Well first of all George Bush never one the first election anyway (do you really expect me to believe that over half of Florida decided to vote independent all of the sudden). I also have high beliefs there were some frauds with the new voting machines in Ohio that led to his reelection. The problem is that between 2004 and 2007 GB has gone from a bad president to possibly the worst president.

George Bush should have been "fired" OR not reelected. What happened was that to a great many people party loyalty was more important than loyalty to country. If anyone looked at the information available at the time regarding Bush's record, and voted with an open mind, he would have never gotten reelected. To many people vote party line. Now the entire country has to pay for those stubborn voters.

It's not unrealistic to point out the mathematical inconsistencies in Ohio's election results in 2004.
However, more to your point, I agree that the 25%-30% approval ratings he presently has are probably inaccurate and misleading.
That said though, if you think a majority (50.1% or more) of Americans approve of the job he's done you are the one who needs to "be an adult and think realistic."

I dont understand how people can hate Bush. He didnt send the people to war by himself. Republicans and Democrats both played a role in sending him people to war. As far as anything else going on in Washington. I blame the senators and congressman who are only interested in getting re-elected and will not compromise on anything that might help America succeed.

I can't stand the man! My son is in Iraq (ready to come home), while his twins are enjoying their young lives here in the U.S.... I believe that anyone who says that the war should continue, should be the 1st to volunteer themselves & convince their young kids to go to war. Most people who agree with the war, do not have love ones risking their lives; but... they expect for other people to risk their lives for them.
By the way... I didn't vote for Bush the 1st or 2nd time. The people I know that did vote for him, truly regret it.
