I am talking about those with a wide range of real acting talent, not just action, or comedy, or lookin' so good that people worship him, etc...

Wow, such great feedback on this, it is going to be tough to pick one. A few I don't know of, too young, I guess; it has been a while since I've seen a new movie that is not animated! There is one standout here that I feel might be the most talented and underrated actor and therefore deserving of this award - and I'm glad that you have mentioned him a lot - but all of them are excellent!!!

Don Cheadle-everything he has ever done in his career, the man is amazing
Zac Efron- disreagarding his looks, the kid has some major talent chops! He's obviously a hard worker, he made his way to the top, taking every job he could
Terrence Howard-he takes some interesting roles, but he owns every last one of them
James Mardsen-Is good, and needs to be in more mainstream things, the guy has undeniable skils
Elijah Kelley-From Hairspray, can sing and has some held back humor, he's gonna be right up there with Zac Efron
David Reivers-Father of the teen sensation Corbin Bleu is no comparision to his son, (we know where corbin got the talent!) and is really good. He makes it happen when he gets in front of the camera and blows the competition away
Will Smith-Has the experience most wish they could, and he uses all that he has learned to his advantage.
George Clooney-yeah he does look really good, but he's got the talent to back it up, he has been in many roles and the man use to pedal his bike to auditons! Look where it got him, he's good and that's a fact

My main man is Samuel L Jackson. He has played everything from a Crackhead to a Southern Father seeking revenge for his daughters violent rape and assault. My favorite actor who always has flown under the radar is Chris Cooper. I am also a huge Ethan Hawke and Denzel Washington fan. I like Leiv Scheibert and Don Cheadle as well.

Johnny Depp, he is an excellent actor, he's done so many roles that were out of the norm, he's awesome. Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, POTC, Blow, What's Eating Gilbert Grape...
What more could you ask for? Oh yeah, he's freaking hot!

I think Sean Penn, Robert DeNiro and Edward Norton all for the fact that they are in a variety of different roles (mostly the first two, though)
Also, I think John C. Reilly is brilliant because he can easily go from comedy to drama!

Rosie O'donnel, in a couple of his movies, he played a woman, and I was almost convinced he was one.
