I prefer powder eyeshadow, but it doesnt last very long, especially black eyeshadow.

Is there a way to make the powder stay? last longer?

I used to have that problem until I started wetting my eyeshadow applicator just a little bit with water then putting the eyeshadow on the applicator, and then onto me. It stays on soooo much longer and it also makes it stand out more. I also saw this done on the Rachel Ray show when they did a segment on beuty tips haha. Goodluck :-)

Put concealer or foundation on your lids first, then a little powder. Then put on the shadow. I have oily skin and have the same problem but this works for me. I was told its b/c the shadow can't seep into your skin with the layer of makeup underneath.

Urban Decay Primer Potion, I've heard good things about it.

but honestly..

CHAPSTICK works GREAT. You just put a LITTLE on your eyelid, if it looks like alot, wipe away the excess grease with your finger..
