Will this have any harmful affect towards my bettas?

Sounds like a good amount to me. I feed my bettas twice a day. Once in the morning with flakes and once in the evening with frozen or live foods.

I have had a lot of Betta they are not notorious overeatters. When mine was smaller I gave it 4 pellets a day. When it got larger it could eat 7-8 pellets a day. 2 pellets every other day sounds way too little. My fish lived over two years and was very healthy. It really depends on how much your fish eats. If it gobbles up three quickly give it 4 the next day until you find out how much it can eat. No more than 8 it will just sink to the bottom and go uneaten. They are very resilient fish.

I feed my Betta's twice a day. Once in the morning and once at night. Only feed them a few pellets at a feeding. Also Betta's need a varied diet. Try to switch his food every couple of days. They will thrive on Betta flakes, pellets, brine shrimp, and bloodworms. Only use the shrimp and the bloodworms as a treat. Over feeding can cause swim bladder disease and can cause fin rot if the uneaten food is left in the tank. It is much better to underfeed then it is to overfeed. If you notice your Betta looking plumper and having trouble swimming, fast it for a day or so. Betta's tend to get constipated easily.

about 3 pellets a day is plenty. They really wont eat much more than that. If you over feed it, the pellets that they dont eat sink to the bottom and makes the water really murky and they can get sick from it. bettas dont really eat much. So just limit it to about 3-4 pellets a day, pick a time so you would be consistent like around 7 o clock everyday.

feed only what the betta will eat, scoop out the rest and I only fed mine twice a day. Freeze dried blood worms are a betta treat, BUT if you feed him those, do not feed for like two days or so....and honestly, there are a MILLION websites about betta care. Stop being lazy and go look it up.

Twice a day is a good feeding schedule for just about any fish. That being the case your fish should be doing just fine with the schedule that you currently have it on.

feed them 3-4 pebbles once a day, it doesn't matter what time to do it but if your over feed them they'll die. fish have like a 10 second memory and they'll eat and eat until they die, so once a day 3-4 pebbles
