An Albino Chinese algae eater grows to the same size as the regular colored one's... about 7" or so. They DO NOT get over 2 feet, that's impossible. They might stop getting longer in a tank, but that's not limiting growth, it's stunting them which causes them to die a slow and painful death. Thats true for any fish kept in a tank too small for it's adult size.

depends on what type of algae eater. plecos get 24in plus,and ive got a 10 in Chinese algae eater. that actually not true they wont just get as big as their surroundings they may slow their growth but dont stop growing.

only approximately all plecos are algae eaters and could consume algae off stone. Are you feeding them algae wafers? while you're they may well be eating the wafers and not algae. you ought to get some corys or SAE. they are little extra lively.

any and every fish will only grow to the size of their tank. so if you put it in a bigger tank it will grow bigger ect.
