World of Warcraft help Please!?

how come when ever i create a human on WoW i start in northshire and when i create a night elf i start in shawdowglen even when i see other night elvs in northshire i dont get please help even when i have the same realm i really want a night elf but i want to be in north and goldshire please i am new so i dont get it plz

Ok, to get to Northshire from Shadow Glen is a LONG walk, but you can do it at any level if you are fairly lucky.

1. Go to the Nightelf capital city.

2. in town near the bank is a teleporter, that takes you to a little port area.

3. Either take the free griffin or ride the boat to Darkshore. Either way, grab the flight point to ease returning.

4. Once you are at Darkshore, head to the dock. Board the ship that docks on the south part of the docks This should take you to the loading screen as you change continents. If you don't see the loading screen, stay on the ship, ride it back to Darkshore, and board the other boat.

5. Now comes the tedious, and dangerous, part. You will land in the major town in the Wetlands. Get the flight point to make returning easier. After that follow the road east out of town.

6. Follow this major road east. Don't leave it for anything, the monsters in this area can one-shot anyone below level 20. Monsters can stray onto the road, so stop and let them wander of it one gets too close.

7. When the road banks SE, continue to follow it to the next zone. You'll go through a couple of tunnels and the road will be going due south. Careful between the tunnels, there is a little orc outpost hidden off the road there.

8. Keep running south. Agina watch for monsters on the road, this area one-shots anyone level 15 and under. Eventually you'll exit the zone to the SW and the ground will turn to snow.

9. Follow the road to the west until you see a sign for Ironforge, turn north and enter Ironforge.

10. Grab the flight point to make returning easier. Then enter gnomish district in the SE and enter the swirling portal for another zone change.

11. You will now be in a subway station. Do the little non-combat quest here for some easy experience. Next, ride either subway, they both go to Stormwind. (You could walk the subway path, but that could take 10-30 minutes VERY easily.)

12. Find the next flight point to ease returning. Exit Stormwind to the south, and follow the road south to Goldshire. Turn NW at the intersection, and walk the rest of the way to Northsire.

Congrats, you've walked from Shadowglen to Northshire. It should only take you about 30 minutes if you get lucky with the transports and don't get killed by a monster that wandered onto the road. Make sure to reset your Hearth point to somewhere like Goldshire or you could accidently teleport yourself back!
