If so, could you explain how it affects you?
I'm curious as to why there are so many "Is Vin Diesel gay?" type questions in the Celebrity section. How can it possibly affect them?

Good question. First..absolutely not will it affect my opinion of their talent. Couldn't care less so long as when I hear them sing or see them portray a character, that I can suspend my disbelief for however long. Why so many questions about it? Wish I could explain that..but not a chance. Maybe because some people are fixated on the 'dirt' and not on the talent.....i dunno...but sigh.

I don't care enough about celebs to ever ask a question like that. But it is distracting sometimes, like watching Rupert Everett or someone similar in movies where he is chasing some woman, and the whole time I'm thinking "but we all know he's gay." And for the cute celebs, knowing they were definitely gay would ruin the whole fantasy. Say it ain't so, George Clooney.

Well really it makes no difference to me if ANYONE is homosexual! Everyone is beautiful on the inside in some way..and their sexual preference is no concern of mine. Just so they have a good heart and a level head on their shoulders..and as for actors..they still act the same way..and i will continue to watch the same celebrities regardless of what they do in their own private lives..

People seem to think the role is the person, no matter what. It's sad that adults can't see past the silver screen. Those who make their living on stage and screen never play themselves... it's a standing joke. Who would play so and so if they made a movie of his/her life? Why do we insist on feeling that we own these people because of their chosen profession? Who they are and what they do in their private lives should be just that. Private.

well first of all i could care less what people do, but if its like someone like Usher and someone says he is Gay, then you start wondering about the lyrics of the songs, you kinda feel betrayed-well i do anyways. i wouldnt want to be singing some lyrics he had intended for his lover?
* Usher is not gay, that I know of but thats an example

No it does not. I have a feeling that most of the people who ask these questions would not have a clue who in Hollywood is really gay. Go On Yall!!!

Nope and I don't see why it bothers other people either. There are real problems in the world they should be concerned with instead. They're not having sex in the street or in public. It's the people who complain about it that are bring the sex part of it out in public.

To me it does. Like if I see a movie and the actor is playing a romantic role. Once I have found out that he is gay in real life. Movies that have him playing any sort of romantic role. I find fake. And tend to lose interest in the movie. All I think about is yea right. He doesn't even like women.

Depends. Is it a guy that is supposed to be playing a ladies man that is gay? It is hard for me to watch a gay man in movies picking up girls when clearing in life he is gay. If he is playing a gay man it doesn't bother me.
