I don't get it, I want to dye my hair darker which means I need to wear eye make-up that complements my darker hair color, but I feel like I am unmatched if I am wearing brown on my eyes with a black outfit. Am I crazy for this, or what??

I think thats alright if you want to wear grey with black outfits and brown with brown outfits but as long as you arent wearing blue eye make up with blue outfits then you should be alright. Stay with neutral colors black, grey, brown, if you have brown eyes then plum is a good shade for your eyes too.

You are not crazy, you just like being color cordinated and matching! I think that is really cool! Your eyes will bring out your clothes and your clothes will bring out your eyes! I know alot of people who do that actually, you aren't alone! Most people get dressed then do their make up according to their outfit!

Wearing eye color that matches your clothes is really out of style. I'm serious. It's weird. If you are wearing blue, blue eyeshadow looks really bad. Sorry but it's the truth.

I think it can be explained by a theory in psycology called "cognitive dissonance". Cognitive dissonance happens when your brain sees a conflict between two beliefs, behaviors, emotions or attitudes that you have. The brain hates dissonance and so changes your beliefs or behaviors to get rid of it. In your case, the different makeup and clothes cause dissonance so your brain gets rid of it by making them match
