Numerous times, I've been riding a long time and used to race MX, desert and production class G.P..

No track crashes could equal the one I suffered on a street close to home when I was hit head on by a 1962 Buick station wagon.

Broke both legs, both wrists and cracked my skull ,along with all the other scrapes and bruises one might imagine.

I swore for almost a week I would not ever ride again, but when the plaster and fiberglass were barely dry I already had another bike.
Once a biker, always a biker, right?

Stupid lady driver hit me from behind causing me to grip the handlebars firmly in 1st gear. Because of this the front tire went up a few times. I tried to ride it out but that didn't work out. A second later the bike was in a wheelie going down the highway and I was thrown off and rolling around in traffic. 4 grand damage to the bike and besides a sore left leg and buttox I was unscathed. This is why I never ride without full gear. I'd rather be hot than dead. Stay safe out there.

Been down 2 "major" times.
1st: I was thrown off with my 8 yr old step son on my chest because we got a flat and the driver didn't want us hurt. The bike was bucking. We were in a parade. We slid about 30 ft. I lost the back of my shirt and my pants. I had glass and pebbles in my back that had to be dug out. I also had a bruised face from his helmet hitting me. No scars to show from it.
2nd: Riding with my brother we were in loose gravel and didn't know at a stop light When we took off the tire didn't grip and we did a whellie that wouldn't go down. He pushed me off the bike I slid 50 ft through an intersection. boke a nail and scuffed my boot had a bruise on my hip and ego for a while.

Two yrs ago had a little old lady pull across the hwy in front of me. I was going about 70 when she came out, managed to get down to about 40 when I t-boned her SUV. wife was thrown about 25 feet, I went 18ft, after slamming face first into the side of her vehicle.
Broken nose and separated pelvis . Steel plate and 6 screws holding me together down below, and an end to my modeling career. (LOL). I was in the hospital 2 weeks and wheelchair for a month. Back on a new bike within 3 months of wreck.
Wife had a little road rash and a lot of bruises, including bruised shin bone.

3 wheeler accident in Glamis dunes 1996. A drunk in a sand rail hit me head on. Dizzy, vomiting blood, rode 250R back to camp with help from other riders. I got a severe concussion, 3 broken ribs, a punctured lung and a broken ankle, right side. Spent 2 days in hospital, 4 months recovery time, screws holding ankle bones together to this day. One of the things I do remember after I was taken back to camp to head back home, whenever I would hear a bike go by, I would move my broken foot like I was changing the gears and woke up in agonizing pain.

It wasn't while I was ON the motorcycle...it was the falling OFF that hurt! LOL I was a passenger and the Jerk driving revved suddenly from a full stop and jolted me right off the back. Landed on my back and hip, and my jeans ripped from catching the license plate. Mental note...never ride on the back of a bike again...Have my OWN now.

When I was learning how to ride, I came to my first 90 degree turn. Remembering that the guy who was teaching me said to lean into the turns, i leaned into it except I was going a little too fast and ended up with the bike laying on top of me sideways in the direction I was trying to lean, but still going straight. Fell down a deep ditch but luckily only ended up with some pretty good road rash.

Showing off riding down some stairs, fell over, got dragged about 20 feet.
Ripped all my clothes, got scraped and gashed in my right side. Had to get x-rayed, but nothing was broken. Hurt a lot though.
