Everything's so much clearer.. like the text...and the pictures aren't pixelated on Firefox like they are on IE.
I have a Dell Inspiron if that makes a difference at all.

Do I have to change my settings or something to make everything look better on IE???

It is the ClearType that IE uses. You can switch it off by going to tools>internet options>advanced>multimedia then uncheck the box that says 'always use cleartype for HTML' then hit apply and restart IE. That will fix it. I think Firefox renders sites more closely to how they are supposed to look than IE also.

I can't stand IE! I'm a die hard Firefox user and recommend it to anybody who is still using that tired old IE. Not sure about the problems you seem to be having, but if you're seeing clearly on everything else but IE then I don't think there are settings you can change, but I'm not a member of the GEEK squad..so I'm not sure about that. Just use Firefox and don't worry about the IE looks.

firefox is a better browser, but I don't think that's the problem, blurry pictures...
try this right click on your desktop, select properties, click on the appearance tab. next click on the effects button. make sure you have clear type turned on.
Or, you might have some type of web accelerator program that affects IE and not firefox. A program like that reduces the resolution down on the graphics so they download faster. Check and see if you have anything like that running.

You like the default settings on Firefox better than their equivalents on IE. Why bother to fix up IE? It is like putting lipstick on a pig. Just go with Firefox - it is faster and more-featured.

Because Firefox is the best browser ever created. :)

I think you need your eyes checked :P It's the video card and resolution that makes graphics look good -- not the browser.
