I am heavily into quantum theory and quantum mechanics. Has anyone been able to "control" it? In theory i will be creating the answers you give me therefore this would be a psudo sociological experiment. Also, what are your thoughts on experiments regarding the matter i.e. sensory deprivation etc. Thanks and your welcome...a little joke for myself.

Stay off the drugs for a few days, and then ask a question. Seriously, your 'question' doesn't make sense.

If you are heavily into quantum theory and quantum mechanics, then I'm sure you already know that there is a lot of pseudo-scientific nonsense going around about it.

There's an aspect of quantum theory that says there's a fundamental limit to the accuracy with which certain combinations of quantities can be measured simultaneously. One logical implication of this is that it is fundamentally impossible to make a measurement of a physical quantity without having some small (and _unpredictable_) effect on the thing you're measuring.

Well, this got popularly misreported as, "you change things when you look at them."

And that in turn got twisted (by org's such as the Ramtha School of Enlightenment, producers of "What the (bleep) do we know") into something like, "You create your reality."

Well, I DO believe I create my reality. I do it every day, by remembering to fill my gas tank, pay the bills, and eat healthy. I also agree that my attitude about my circumstances is just as important, if not moreso, than the details of the circumstances themselves.

But I don't think there's any evidence that people have some personal power over external reality, except in the usual, mundane sense of thinking about something and then physically acting on it. There is certainly NOTHING in quantum theory that suggests that such mental powers exist.

The very basis of Quantum Theory is the lack of control. In the realm of the very small (subatomic particles), everything is spoken of in terms of possibilities and not definites like the Marco world we live in. Strange things happen like a particle mysterious appearing on the other side of a barrier. However, these affects are limited to the micro world and do not manifest themselves in the Macro world

Heavily into it or not, you don't understand quantum mechanics if you think it is 'controllable'. Quantum mechanics is simply a theory that describes how the universe appears to work. Humans are quite incapable of changing how the universe works.

As for control over reality, if you're awake, you have control over your body. If you're asleep, you don't even have control over that. You certainly don't have control over anything outside your body.

No, each decision you make leads to a chain of events being created, your future is in your own hands. A drunk driver can make a horrific on your life but we all face these dangers over which we have no control.
