why are channel 12 13 & 14 enable for US?

I know channel 12 & 13 are for EU, and 14 are JP.

I want to know why US not using 12-14?

Also, isnt illegal to use 12-14 in US?

Because the frequencies assigned to channels 12-14 are allocated for other uses in the US.

If you use channels 12-14 in the US, you might interfere with the transmissions of the assigned users of those frequencies. In that case, the assigned users would have every right to send the FCC after you.

You really don't want the FCC upset with you.

Are you talking about a wireless device? It's just usually the standard transmission frequency for that country (for wireless devices). If you use a channel other than the standard, your receiver devices my not pick up the signal.
