my headphones work. they just don't work on my computer. when i plug them in, no sound comes through. but sounds comes through on my computer speakers. i've looked on my computer for solutions, but i couldn't find one.

possibles:

1. you are plugging into the wrong jack ... likely the mic jack

2. jack you are trying to use isn't connected inside the case

3. speakers, when plugged in, disconnect the jack you are trying to use [use the speakers' jack for headphones]

4. jack you are trying to use is software disabled for some reason [never heard of it and i think it is possible]


i'm out of ideas here. i think both are likely stereo mini-plugs, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Either you are plugging it on the wrong jack or your jack is not working. It's not software related anymore as the internal speakers work. You need to take it to the shop for checking.

make sure ur computer isnt on mute
