I'm looking for a good name for a guild on a game,
Having a darker name, something to do with "Uprising, Overthrowing, Polluting, rage, Rioting, Sin, etc....

a darker name doesn't have to be too evil just something with a dark meaning, if you can think of any secret society names or anything i will gladly reuse.... but originality will also be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Hmmm, something along the lines of "Uprising, Overthrowing, Polluting, rage, Rioting, Sin, etc...."

How about "Dick Cheney's Fan Club?"

Black Crane

The White Crane is a symbol of peace, happiness and long life. 1000 origami cranes do something for peace in the world or person.

You could pollute it into somethin dark very easily, I think.
Rage, rioting, despair, death, etc. What curses would 1000 paper black cranes cause. Not literally, or paper origami, but you get the idea.

Good luck with your guild!

Oddly, no one mentioned the classic. Perhaps because it is not original: The Black Hand Society, a real organization that triggered WWI by assassinating the Archduke Ferdinand.

If that's too hackneyed, try something like "Night Basilisks" or "Dark Medusa" (snake hair representing many members) or, likewise, "Black Hydra".

The Royal Order of the Spooky Level 20 Dungeon Masters of Chaos (or ROSLTDMOC for short).
Seriously, you should go for the Legion of Cain. Shadowy Biblical anti-hero's always make for scary names. In this case, you have "Legion," the name of the demon horde that possessed the guy in ganesseret, and "Cain," the world's first murderer.
But I do like the "Abscess of God."

What about one of the most disgusting words in the English Language - an acronym for Pollution, Uprising and Sin

the word

PUS

it's foul, evil and objectionable. The word itself makes everyone cringe. Nobody likes to hear the word, do they? And when you do hear the word, you think of oozing, open sores, putrefying flesh - ugh - gross.

Micea. When pronounced "my-SEE-uh", I think it sounds like some ancient Greek city, which is cool. But it would also be a great last name, too. If I ever become really famous, like an actor or something, I would change my name to "Michael Micea". Haha
