Do not listen to these people. Tangs like vegetable matter. get some seaweed and hang it from a veggie clip which you can purchase at any fish store. if you do not feed tangs enough vegetation they will get pinch belly which means they are staving. clowns need a variety. i would give them a regular marine blend and also some brine shrimp, preferably enhanced with spirolina. gobies and dottybacks like to eat from the bottom so make sure the more agressive eaters dont steal their food. gobies will often hide in little caves they make. so if you can get some brine shrimp or a frozen blend near their dwelling all should be good. Angelfish are very shy and easily intimidated.. sometimes you have to target feed them until they get used to fending for themselves. many times they will not eat for days and slowly wilt away, you can try feeding with live brine shrimp or blood worms to get more picky eaters eating

Tangs need macroalgae in their diets to stay healthy and keep their bright colors. so having some caluerpa will be good for the tangs. The rest should be fine with frozen mysis shrimp frozen or live brine and cyclops. the angels will also pick at the caluerpa or whatever macro algae you decide to keep in the tank. I also like to add vitamins to the frozen shrimp that i feed my fish to keep them healthy and aid strong immune systems.

Addition id have to agree with seamus other than angels being shy. I never had any trouble with my angels taking food in fact my rusty angel is the biggest pig in my tank. But everyone will have different scenarios so just make sure all the fish are getting food and you will be ok. If you notice some fish not eat then you should target feed those fish.

commercial fish foods are designed as balanced meals for fish while at the same time must take into consideration there attraction to fish.
saltwater fish for the most part are wild caught and may not have come across flakes and pellets before so you are going to have to experiment with a few different brands.
many salt shops offer frozen mixes for fish and these are excellent natural food blends. shop around and try for some of those.
lastly, ask to see the fish feed in the shop you go to and take note of the food brands the stores in your area use. they may have done the trial and error feeding process for you. good luck

Get sinking pellets for the clown loachs and regular tropical flake food for the other fish. Drop one pellet in and listen to the clicking sounds the clowns will make.

Well I feed my fish Brine Shrimp and a little Mysis shrimp here and there. Or maybe you could try little flakes or pellets. They sell them at Petco and Petsmart.
