Okay, so i know that a male's erection has something to do with the blood flow, but that can't really be it can it? I mean if it was just blood wouldn't he feel more like a waterballoon? I am completely serious about asking this question i am geuninely curious and ask you not to make up so random answer that doesn't answer my question.

blood flow is the filler but remember-the male penis is also 3 tissue chambers which gives the shape, girth, and firmness of the erection. That's the mechanics basically. BUT-the need for the male to actually be and feel relaxed is very important. "Performance Anxiety" will stop an erection cold. The tissues need a relaxed mind to acquire an erection. Sounds strange but true. woories and all the mind games are the erections biggest problem. Of course theres medical problems too but a healthy male has to stop the outside world, forget the problems, to have fun!

You got it. Simply put, blood flows into three spongy areas along the penis and valves in the blood vessels close to keep it erect.

wow.. that is a very good question. I think its cause the penis isnt just a sack of blood, but there is a spongy material in there that pprovides some structure.
