How old were u when u had ur first boy friend? I'm really nice but I don't really talk to guys at school or have any guys as friends. But I want a boy friend? Is this sad? Or do I have nothing to worry about. I don't want to go to prom alone!!

I wouldnt worry about it at all....... I would say its refreshing in this day and age when a girl of 17 hasnt been kissed yet.... as for the prom... ask someone.......... then if he says no. ask someone else........... keep going............ OR go with some of the girls who are going with no dates..........this seems to be the thing now........... girls going to have fun, and not worry about a date.........

First, it would be a tragedy if you go to the prom alone. If there is no guys in your school MAN enough to ask you, put an announcement in those dating services in your town. I am SURE there is a guy out there your age, and nice like you, looking ALSO for someone to go onto a date. They would LOVE to go to some place fun like the prom.
Now to "is this sad?" Not at all. Not everyone is a player and gets dates when they are a teen. Many men and women do not even start dating until they finish college. My neice has NO interest in any guy. Just school.
And why are you beating up your soul? You probably will live to 85, or older. That is a LONG time to find a lot of guys and go on a lot of dates! And along the way, you will even find the perfect guy to stay with the rest of your life.

Well, I'm going to be 16 this year and I've never had a boyfriend, kissed a guy, or even danced with one! Girl, we've got something in common. But you know what? This isn't sad. In my situation, I'm just waiting for the right one to come along. I'm really mellow and nice, but I do have a tougher side. It's not so much that I want a boyfriend, I just want to be in true love. You really don't have anything to worry about. High school is the best 4 years of our lives, and we can't waste half of it wishing for a boyfriend. We don't have to worry about it right now. Just have fun and be yourself! Live it up! I admit, I worry about it sometimes, too, but I have realized that the only way I can have fun during the best years of my life is if I just have fun! I'm going to prom this year, too! Yeah, it'd be nice if I had someone to go to prom with, but if I don't have someone by then, I'll go with my friends and have fun.
Don't worry about it. It's not sad. It's actually a GOOD thing that we haven't dated yet. The truth is that kids aren't supposed to be dating in middle school and early high school. It's best to date only if we know what a relationship means. I figure that it's a good thing that I haven't dated yet because throughout these years I'm starting to learn more about relationships, and when I finally come to date, I'll be smart with relationships already. Don't worry....senior year is always the best and you'll find yourself being able to relax more around guys so that you can talk to and get to know them. And just because you're 17 and you've never kissed or danced with a guy is no big deal. Much better than being 13, 14 and even 15 and doing things (as far as guys go) for all the wrong reasons. Know what I mean? So when the things you're hoping for happen....and they will!....you'll be ready and won't be under any peer pressure. Have a great year....you've got lots to look forward to! Hi. It's kind of sad, but I'm the same way. I'm 18 and I have never had a boyfriend or kissed a guy before. I've danced with guys and held hands with a guy, but that's all. And I didn't have a date until my senior prom. So your not alone.

That is kinda sad. I had my first real kiss when I was about 12 or 13. I never had any boyfriends in high school though. And I never went to my Prom either. I ended up marrying a much older man just before graduating high school. Take the advice of an older woman, and don't get in a hurry to get seriously involved. You are still young. Enjoy your youth while you can.

first kiss 12 about 2 be 13 in a few weeks first boyfriend Sept 2006 first dance with a guy 6 at my kindergarten dace there nothing wrong with u just ust need 2 just kick with some guy and ur have a boy friend in no time

Do not worry about it. I did not get my first boy friend till I was in the 11th grade.....but you know it was worth the wait. You just have not found him yet, give it time and you will. And you can always go to prom with a your friends. Believe me when you get older your prom does not seem that important.

Not sad, its ok. In a world full of 14 year olds with babies, its nice to see a girl who hasnt crossed the line. Since schools just starting, you have plenty of time to get a date for prom, and if not, you and your best girl friends go in a group together and have fun. KUDOS to you, good luck.

It's ok, no rush. Maybe try to be more outgoing and talk to guys as friends. They aren't much harder to talk to as friends. You could ask a guy to the prom if you want to have a date. =D I am only 15, but have never had a boyfriend or any of that either.

Don't worry hun, I thinks its great that you haven't had a Boyfriend yet.Most girls your age are sleeping around, so be proud of yourself. I didn't have my first boyfriend or my first kiss until I was 18!! I loved and felt empowered that I was one of the only virgins I knew at my age. I'm 24 now and I'm still with the guy I first kissed, so its extra special for me. Be picky with your first boyfriend it makes it more special when you love some one, instead of just rushing into a relationship for some experience. Don't worry about a thing!
