Can cutting teeth cause a 6 mth old to run fevers as high as 102 to 103, for several days.... they took her to e.r. and were told she was teething( checked ears throat etc.. no bloodwork or anything) just told them to give her tylenol and motrin.... this has helped some but the fever is back up high again.... told them they needed to take her to her doc for a recheck but they said they were not worried because a freind told them that she could run as high as 104 when teething
My kids ran some fever but never this high... just wondering
Thanks in advance

sorry ... forgot this she does have congestion.... they are leaving thurs. for Colorado for a week vacation....
I could be wrong but I think they need to bring her to her D.r. and have a second opinion before leaving on a trip.. at our cabin in Colorado it is about 39 degrees at night and about 60 to 75 degrees during the day.. i think the climate change could cause problems if it not only her teeth causing this.. maybe not but they wanted to know my opinion on going for a recheck and I said I thought it would be wise..
