If you have scrapbooking stores around, a lot of them have die-cut machines. Which cut out letters, shapes, people ect. If you buy the paper at the store (which usually has tons of different colors and shades) you can use the die-cut machine for free. Just look up scrapbook stores in your area, Michaels and Joanns will probably come up, but you'll need scrapbooking not just a craft store.

Check out your local teacher supply store. This is a place a teacher could buy those letters you need to do a bulliten board as well as the cute bulliten board borders, reward stickers, parents could get workbooks, etc. Check your yellow pages or ask a teacher where the nearest one is.
