best friend/my bf...?

Well, I was watching The Hills on tv and realized how much of a loser Spencer is and how he tore Heidi and Lauren apart...and I started questioning my own life and realtionship....

I love my bf..it's gonna be a year soon...and we've been apart 4 months cause of summer but are gonna meet next week when classes start...he's very faithful and nothing liek Spencer, he's a 4th year pharmacy student but always jokes around...this is his first relationship and he loves me very much, but..

my best friend of over six years is in her own relationship with someone who's 45...(we're 20, btw)...and we've been drifting apart...not really cause of our bf's...but because both of us are changing...she's been with this guy for over 2 years..and i kno she doesn't like my bf...even tho my bf (unlike spencer) doesn't wanna ruin our friendship...does this sound fimiliar?

First off, I would say to never compare your relationship to a fictional TV Show.

And your girlfriend has a life of her own now with a much older boyfriend. To bad she doesn't like your boyfriend.
You both will be going thru many changes over the years.
Sometimes friendships ends once each find boyfriends/husbands. And sometimes they get stronger.

You will be seeing your boyfriend soon. I am sure you both will have a fun time together after such a long separation.
