I'm 5'2", size 25 waist, and skinny (~100 pounds). I'm sick of getting my pants tailored (always ends up looking weird) and I don't have a sewing machine to hem it myself. I also don't like folding my jeans at the bottom.

Here's what I am looking for:
- Jeans with a 29" inseam or shorter
- Need a slim thigh and hip
- Preferably a dark wash, I'm not a big fan of sand-blasted, faded jeans

Here's what I am NOT looking for:
- Ambercrombie, American Eagle, Hollister
- Skinny jeans

Price doesn't matter.

Thanks for any help.

I forgot to mention, I live in Canada, and some online stores (like Wet Seal) don't ship international. Too bad for me haha, I really like their clothes.

Not to go on a rant here (I understand it's easier to hem pants than to make them longer), but I think there's enough short people (especially us Asians) moving to North America so that designers could make a good profit with petite jeans. The whole situation is ridiculous - us short people need to stand tall!

You need to shop at Search By Inseam! You can search tons of brands and styles for your exact inseam. They've got over 1000 items and over a hundred brands. I'm including a couple links to some 29" inseam jeans that might work for you. The first link is the home page. There's also an article on how to measure your exact inseam if you're not sure if you're really a 29" or something else. Hope it helps!

the only piece of advice I can give you is to not worry about the length...you can get any pair of pants shortened. being short myself with 29" inseam, it was such a hassle...it is not really considered petite and not a regular. it is right between. so I started to just look for jeans that fit everywhere else. then I take them to be hemmed. brands that do work for me best are ann taylor , ann taylor loft, j. crew and chico's. gap does make some short lengths as well. try to buy straight leg or slight boot cut...those are easier to hem.

most jeans have an inseam longer than 29 inches.
i am always hemming mine.

try the gap...they make nice jeans..in all leg lengths.

or a petite division..tahari makes petite jeans with straight legs...

all of the design brands..rock & republic, j brand, habitual,
7 for all mankind, gold sign, ..all have long inseams..but they are all nice jeans.
