NBA basketball

Why? In basketball in the NBA, there are only five players playing per team at one time and all five players play at a very high level while college basketball can be very exciting too but is maybe 100 times better than high school bb while the NBA is at least 1,000 times better than college as far as the quality of play.

Plus, in the NBA, superstar players can seemingly play forever at a very high level of play barring injury while every year or two almost every college has to "reload" with new talent.

If you want to complain about NBA referees, fixed or not fixed, then go watch a college officiated basketball games where over the last 50 or 60 years, there have been so many scandals of college basketball game rigging. NBA refs are significantly better and more consistent, as bad as they are, than college referees.

If you want to complain about college basketball referees then go watch a high school basketball game and those referees.

NBA they are the best in the world...Not 1 million teams that all start out 0-0 and only some have a chance to even compete for a title...College is a step to the NBA so if college was better then why not make that the last stop for the sport??? Because it gets better and thats the NBA... Every team has a chance and unlike college all teams have money or can get a chance at drafting any 1 they want....The game is played at its full potential in the NBA...1 star can win it all in college(MELO)...But in the NBA its about the team not based on 1 player....

Most of the time, I'd chose the NBA. I guess that's cuz I'm a Filipino-American & almost everyone of "my people" that I know follows basketball. I like watching certain stars (e.g. LeBron, T. Duncan, S. Nash, Shaq) play, weather they're trying 2 get good stats or highlight moves. What I like about NCAA b'ball r the rivalries. Duke vs. NC is more entertaining then Spurs vs. Mavericks, & I think college rivalries r longer-lasting then in the pros, 2. & of course, the college postseason is dramatically more enthralling then in the NBA. It's amazing how u can determine a champion from 65 teams in six one-game levels, while 16 NBA teams tryin' 2 win 16 games in four playoff series is 2 damn long.

Definetely College. The cllege athletes put their hearts into the games. They are playing for their future. The NBA players are set for life, and go out and try to make more money, by playing well. Of course they want to ge to the playoffs and win a championship, but they dont play with the heart that college basketball players do. I enjoy college more because when you are born in a state like Kentucky when college basketball is all they think about, its hard to find something to do in the off-season to keep you occupied until the college basketball season rolls around. When your heart is dedicated to a program such as Kentucky, or UCLA, or North Carolina you follow them all season long and when they lose a game, you feel like you were apart of the loss. When NCAA tournament time comes around...it is the greatest thing ever. So much excitement to get to the next round. All the upsets and heartbreaking losses. Now that to me says a whole lot more than a bunch of overpaid ball players that argue every call, and dont play with their hearts. College ball for me. Good question.

College since the 80's because they play better team ball. The NBA went through about 15 years of 'Be Like Mike' one-on-one basketball. The NBA might as well have been Streetball during those years. The NBA is now getting better due to the likes of fundamental foreign players and home-grown fundamentalists like Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, and Grant Hill. Too bad about Hill's injuries - he could have been an all-timer! Loved his Dad with the Dallas Cowboys too!

I agree with xlchamp, College ball is played with more heart. It is played with more pride because as an alumnus you would like to share in your college glory plus it is also a way to get recognized in the next level which is the NBA.

But what do I prefer more? Of course no doubt the NBA. Why? After that discussion I gave above here is my reason:
Where do all great cagers in college go? Of course the big league, the NBA. In college, players learn the basic stuff and other things to improve. What better way to honor your school than showcasing it in the Big league espesially the biggest stage in basketball: the NBA Finals. Look at these guys for example: North Carolina's Michael Jordan and Wake Forest's Tim Duncan. Aren't their schools mentioned when they talk of their greatness? Things like this honors the school more and in the NBA players tend to bring in their best or result on being waived or booted out of your team. And please take note of this: The bench warmers of the NBA can beat the best collge selection team mainly because you can't make it in the Big league if your not an achiever. And that is why it's called the BIG league. So there.

BOTH!!!
Honestly i would pick NBA though.
They both have something that the other doesnt have.
The NBA well is obviously the better pick.
All Stars more points and more of a game than college.
The NCAA well has some stuff also.
Some of these players never go in to the NBA and some of them are worth watching for.
NCAA has a different feel to NBA it is always loud in the arena and the rivalries are to die for.
WEll i know the NBA has rivalries but its getting boring and its dying.
If it wasnt for NCAA the NBA would be nothing!!!.
BUt NBA is more entertaining considering that it has the greatest athletes in the game.
Basically its up to you.

I prefer College for many reasons. First, I think it is alot more exciting to watch. Much more team basketball and much less of clearing out the court and dribbling down the clock every 24 seconds. Second, people actually play defense. I love college coaches who actually stress proper defense, compared to pro ball where they just let them have a layup or just foul them. Third, college ball has players who actually care and don't let their egos overshadow the game. College players aren't so self centered and tend to put the team's interest over their own. Plus, you can't beat March Madness. The NBA playoffs are too long and drawn out and they should all be shortened to 5 game series to draw interest in my opinion.
