I'd be willing to bet it was murder. It's too convenient for the Chinese government.

I have little doubt that corruption was involved in the manufacture of the toxic toys; the manufacturer's death could well be suicide, since this is a traditional response to public shame in China.
But it could also be murder; corruption of all sorts is still rampant there.
