whilst a candidate has approximately 2% of the vote, how can they win? that's talked approximately as information, reallity, information, no emotion. there is not any worry. How can we worry some thing which would be long gone quickly? Ron Paul won't even final by some primaries. He'lll be long gone in February after super Tuesday. CA could be crammed with end result and nuts yet they are no longer loopy sufficient to vote for Paul. I relax my case!

While I am not a neo-con, it is a third thing. The neo-cons and their fellow travelers among the social conservatives know that they are the majority in the Republican Party.
Simply put, the philosophy espoused by Ron Paul represents maybe 10-20% of registered Republicans. In many states only registered Republicans are allowed to vote. In those states, it is mathematically impossible for Ron Paul to get any delegates. The states that allow cross-over voting do not have enough delegates to get Ron Paul elected. (John McCain lost for similar reasons in 2000 even though he appealed to a larger segment of registered Republicans than Ron Paul does.)
Unless Ron Paul can convince these people that they are wrong (and polls showing that 70% of the Republicans still support the war in Iraq and this current Administration's policies are not encouraging), the votes are simply not there in the Republican primaries.
To quote Dylan, "you don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows."

The only reason people say he doesn't have a chance is because he doesn't get that much coverage. And the only reason he doesn't get that much coverage because the media is controlled and owned by the people who pay off our politicians and brought us the unconstitutional Federal Reserve.
The only reason he gets his coverage is because people DEMAND IT!!! They want a change, a change for the better of this Republic. He's what a founding father is all about. And with enough support of the people, he does indeed stand a chance. He won my vote, and if you care about your individual liberties and privacy along with having pure freedom and sticking to the papers that made this country great, you should check him out. www.ronpaul2008.com

I'm sorry but you have to live in the real world. To tell you the truth does not make us corrupt or biased. I know Ron Paul is a good man that cares about America but he just is not popular enough to win.

He would have a much better chance without that R behind his name. He should run as an Independant.

Actually I do fear that he might have a chance... his position on Islamic Jihadist is so wrong that it could be catastrophic to this nation if he ever got elected.....
