I feel the same way, Christmas just isnt the same without snow. It just feels more peaceful with a huge snow on the ground. Peaceful, serene, quiet, and just more Christmasy, if thats a word even.

Yes having a white Christmas does make the day different. Last Christmas we had almost no snow and in some places you could see brown grass. I couldn't get into the holiday spirit because of the lack of snow. I have always wished for a Green Christmas but after last year I would prefer to have my White Christmas.

I live in Michigan, and last year we had no snow for Christmas which was the first that I can remember for a while, so anyways I know what its like to have it with or without.
Personally I believe theres nothing like a white Christmas. To look outside and see the snow coming down, be warm inside your home, eagerly awaiting Christmas morning. The snow, while cold in its self in away is like a blanket of closenss and memory's of times with family, and love. There is nothing like a white Christmas.

Hi there.
Yep snow does make christmas feel different. I am origonally from England and occasionally we had white christmas's and believe me they felt special.. I have lived in florida for 7 years and christmas isnt the same.. ( except for the fact that i have a loving family) .. I am getting used to it but feel a little cheated out of the chance of cold and snow....
Yes i do miss the cold.. I know that sound strange...

I think it may make Christmas a bit more different because it actually has snow. People can warm themselves up by a fire, roast some marshmallows, and bundle themselves up. They'll probably feel more cold (der), but not only that. The snow will also make the day more special. I mean, hello? It means you can run outside in it, make snow angels, and make snowmen. Sounds fun enough.
And if you don't have snow, I guess it's more boring. Or at least it's something that I think highly of. Then again, my Christmas' always suck. It's always windy and foggy on that day. Sad, huh? There's not many options that you can do.

Where I grew up, during christmas time it would always rain. So for me Christmas just isn't Christmas until it rains. Now I live in LA and I have one of those sunny Christmas'. It sucks! Is it too much to ask for a white christmas! I WANT SNOW!!!

as that's been mentioned above, Christmas is Christmas, without or with the snow. yet there is something magnificent some white Christmas-- all is quiet, serene, white. The snow glistens off the timber, is captivating on the hills, and brings a splash magic it is purely diverse. that's not undesirable while it does not snow, although that's particularly magnificent while it does. there is not something like waking as much as 3 ft of snow on Christmas morning interior the mountains!

There is something so magical about falling snow. It's pure and white and quiet...actually quiet, and it changes the whole world--for a bit. For it to happen on Christmas Day, or Christmas Eve somehow seems all the more magical.

And then it starts...to...melt.....

I've never experienced a white Christmas, but I imagine it every year. One time, it was getting close to snowing, and I stayed up late and woke up early every day the entire Winter break, but no snow. Oh well. And to the lady above me, we are used to it. I live in CA, but in the REALLY hot part, not just the beach.
