i wonder because many people from the yankee fan base are not calling me a true yankee why im only asking not to be that cocky and humble because what is going to happend when the yankees go on a slump the same thing is going to happen i rather have people respect me for not being cocky and humble im just like that and ask any of my contacts and people on yahoo answers baseball section that no me i have been in this section and supported my yankees in the bad the good and the ugly never gave up on them im happy as hell because they have comeback from a 14 lead deficet from the red sox but im going boast about it i am happy but im not going to totally happy unitl we win the AL EAST AND WS

Any person who sticks with their team through the good and the bad is a true fan. Usually, the ones who are the most humble are the real fans who care about their team the most.
If the rest of Yankee Nation is calling you a non-Yankee fan just because you're humble, THEY are the ones that need to look into their definition of "fan"

Your are i mean look how much you pay attention to them you are one of the most true yankee fans that i know and i don't like the fact that a bunch of people are saying otherwise. If you ask me they're the untrue ones by not noticing a Yankee fan when they see one. and i respect the fact that you want the cocky ones to pipe down because im right there with ya.

I don't hate you. You're one of my contacts! Like so many true Yankee fans, you have stayed beside the Yankees through all that has happened this season. You watched the Yankees when they were 14 games behind the Red Sox and you supported them.

You are a true fan of baseball..Not just a true Yankees fan. People cannot understand how fans from other teams can show respect for teams that they don't favor. You are a true fan of the sport and also of your team. Don't listen to other people that aren't respectful to all of baseball.

Nope. There are a lot of Yankees fans that spew crap out of their mounth on this site that I don't like - you're not one of them. I like and respect most of your aswers and questions. You could do me a favor though and see if your team could take it easy on the Royals in September. I realize that NY is trying to win the division - but the wild card is still the playoffs. We're trying to pull ourselves into 4th place here in KC and everytime we get close we have to play NY and you guys just slam us back down to the cellar.

i don't pay lots interest to the Jonas Brothers, yet they do look kinda poopy. Miley Cyrus appears like a self-based entire in the butt who's purely too grown. (Jonas Brothers look too newborn like.) Who do I hate? Courtney Love is gross and ridiculous. of direction all and sundry hates Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie is disconnected from fact too. lady Gaga sucks!!!! She's so gruesome and untalented. it somewhat is it! it somewhat is my answer! She had a song approximately dancing and he or she will't even circulate. stupid.

I know, a Met fan that smart is unlikely -- Red Sox fans may be demented, but at least they tend to be smart, when they're sober, anyway.

most yankee fans are yankee fans and not baseball fans too... they cheer fr them cause its easy and they rub it in everyone's faces... but I don't see you doing that ...

yeah, you're definitely a great fan. i've known you throughout this season and you've stuck with the team.
and i totally agree with you...4 games back, we shouldn't be bragging about that. this doesn't mean anything yet. of course, it's amazing and it's great, but the season isn't over yet and you can guarantee how a team is gonna end up until the season is over.
and i don't think i could ever hate you!
