756 astericks for every home run. Does he deserve all this because of steroids, or should we just let it go and give him the title of home run king?

Dawg, I gotta correct you on this...Rafael Palmeiro, who's in the 3,000 hit club, got busted for steroids.

Actually, steroids DO help with hand-eye coordination according to the steroids expert on "Costas Now." I'll take his word over every YA poster saying otherwise until they can prove they are more qualified and have superior evidence.
All the folks saying "He never failed a test" apparently don't know much (if anything) about the MLB drug-testing policy. It is so easy for a 'roid user to pass the test. It's a shallow boast.

No such thing as adding asterisks to a valid HR or any record for that matter. The steroids did not help him or anyone else that "used", otherwise it's just snake oil and worthless to baseball players because if it really was a miracle drug like all the Barry haters say it is, they would see over 1,500 HR's not from only Barry, but others that have taken it.
I'd say that the asterisks only help in highlighting his achievement and will serve as testimony to what can be achieved with or without drugs, on a baseball field.

Let's see, he, while being accused of putting all kinds of things in his body ( and I think he has) has never tested positive once, he's never been caught with a corked bat, or using any other means against the rules of baseball, and has hit more home runs then anyone else in the history of the big leagues.
Get over it - there is no such thing as an asterisk in the record book. It's just a set of numbers.

people who bash bonds tend to bug me...
First of all, Bonds never tested positive for roids....EVER!
Not only this, the media never seems to mention alot of the players caught with roids.....WERE PITCHERS!!!
Sure, Bonds got rather massive in one year, it is suspicious, but he never ever ever tested positive for use of roids...
Even if he did use roids, the roids didnt help him make contact with the ball 756+ times and not only this, i think if anything that when he started belting home runs that made it more difficult for him to bat because pitchers starting walking him all the time...he has over 1000 walks! Think if he was pitched to 1000+ more time than he is now, how many home runs you think he'd pull out of that??? He was a decent home run hitter before the "ROIDS" (if taken). So think about that.
My belief he is (at this point) the greatest home run hitter of all time, considering the record, its his title....
GOOD JOB BONDS!

Who is going to pay for all those asterisks?
