I tried to set up my Linksys wifi router for like 2 hours without any success. I even called technical support and got a bunch of BS none of which was of any help. I finally went back to Best Buy and exchanged it for a D-Link, 5 min later it was working like a charm.

I just did the same thing and i didnt bother with the cd, i called the tech support number and had it all hooked up in about 10 minutes. You have to make sure your computer is compatible with the linksys, and that your computer has wireless campabilities. I got my wireless router for my alarm system and my laptop, so i have comcast and a router.

Your question doesnt make much sense. Roadrunner connects you to the internet. It is an internet service provider and it provides the internet... If you have a wifi router and no internet what is the point in having a router at all? Be more specific.

You mean Road Runner Cable? if so that is your internet. Take the cable that goes from the modem to your computer and hook it up to the router.

what? your using road runner. wait a second you need to attach the hardware to your computer and run cables to the correct ports on your router, computer, and modem.
as for computers being compatable they have been since 98 se came out. just if you don't have a wireless pci card or usb device for the second computer, you'll need to run a direct line from router to pc.

Go to linksys.com and look up your router for the "easy install" instructions.
