Sounds like your fuel lines or filter is clogged if the fuel pump is working. One way to check is to turn your truck on to pressurize the fuel lines and have someone listen to see if the fuel pump comes on. If it is working, you should hear a humming noise coming from gas tank. If the pump is ok, the next thing you should do is look for the fuel rail or rails in the engine bay(you didn't say if your truck was a four or six cylinder engine). The fuel rail(s) will sit on top of the fuel injectors and it should have a pressure relief valve on it. The relief valve looks like a tire valve. Unscrew the cap on the valve and depress the needle inside the valve. Be careful when you do this, because gas will spray out if the fuel line is pressurized. If no gas sprays out or if it just trickles out, it means the fuel is not getting pass the fuel line or filter. If that is the case, get a filter and change it. When you do change the filter, take a look inside of it to see what caused it to get plugged up. It could be that someone may have put something into your gas tank and it may still be in the tank. Changing the filter will only work for a little while and you would have to do the same thing over again. The next time it clogs the filter it might ruin your fuel pump, too.

If your fuel pump is working, could be blockage. Sounds like your f.i. is not getting gas. Check this by disconnecting fuel line from f.i. and have someone crank the starter.(hold it over a cup to catch gas). If no gas comes out, it's probably blocked. Maybe the fuel filter or a kink in the line.
