The lonely street of dreams seems to mean to me that these are dreams that people have that are left unfulfilled and they are roaming aimlessly to find direction and roam the streets to find their aspirations and sometimes forget the human approach and ignore the human touch and therefore are left alone .

I think it means that you are trying hard but its a battle that you have to win yourself till you make the dream come true. You got to take all the hits and falls to the top but never give up trying.

most peoples dreams are out of touch. sometimes people strive for their dreams so long that they miss out on the reachable, and end up very lonely or sad, or both.
