Obviously, when companies are making their racquets, they are made from different materials, using different techniques to produce different racquets. The kind of racquet thats best for you can only be decided by you. But I mean, even if you do somehow figure out which is better, you'd still have to go through different racquet models. I find, Wilson's spiral cushion grips to be too bumpy and uncomfortable during play. I use Head Ti. S1. I suggest trying demo's like Julian B said. But also check out the racquets of your friends and other players. Then again, even if you find your racquet, make sure it's durable. Last year I used a Head Ti. S2 and during play, the Titanium-Graphite Frame, split, and the strings also dettatched. I would suggest a solid, metal frame. But I would prefer Prince over Wilson, WITH THE EXCEPTION of the Wilson K Factor which is an AMAZING rcquet. It costs $219 but I don't think you will regret buying it!!!

I'd have to say overall Prince has a higher selection of quality raquets. I started off using Head, but after a year I switched to Prince and haven't looked back. I used to use the Triple Threat Hornet(Prince) and I was very comfortable with it and now I changed to the Price Speedport O3, it's the best raquet for my type of game. I wouldn't count out Wilson's K Factor though, that is a very good raquet as well.

If your asking regarding tennis raquets, then I am going to have to say Wilson. All of their raquets are suited for different types of players, and I also really think that the feel that the Wilson tennis raquets have are the most comfortable and best.
Oh and I use a Wlison NPRO 100 if you wanted to know.
You can even go to a sports store and demo some raquets to see which one you like the best. The demo raquets are like 3$ per day per raquet!

I have used both, but I prefer the Wilson. I like the feel of the Wilson better and it tends to hold up with the scraps and such better I think.

from year of teaching experience, which is better depends on individual preference. both have different technology and comfort to make you play better.
Prince has now the 03 or 03 hybrid rackets which it suppose to enlarge the sweetspot by 54%. but not everybody loves them coz although sweetspot is larger now, it is not the easiest rackets to play with. surprising in fact!
Wilson had the Hypercarbons then Ncodes and now Kfactor.
generally, Wilson rackets are easier to play with. they may not
have the largest sweetspot but more user-friendly.
so which is better u ask?
it all depends on your style of play, ability level and swing pattern.
some rackets need players who has a longer swing for the racket to perform better.
then there are rackets for players who have short swings ie stiffer rackets.
so go demo the rackets then decide which is best!!
have fun!!!!
